Early Years Funding Entitlements Information
Funding Entitlements Available
Our school offers both 15-hour and 30-hour early education funding for eligible children. These funded hours can be taken between 8:45am and 3:15pm.
We do not offer any chargeable extras as part of the funded entitlement.
How We Allocate Places
Places in our Early Years provision are allocated based on the child’s date of birth. This ensures a clear, fair, and consistent admissions process for all families.
How to Apply
Parents and carers can apply for a place through the application link provided on our admissions page or by emailing enquiries@duckmantonprimary.org.uk. Further guidance on eligibility and documentation is available within the online application process.
Patterns of Attendance
Families can access funded provision in one of the following patterns:
- 15 funded hours
- 30 funded hours (for eligible families)
All funded hours must be taken within our operating day of 8:45am to 3:15pm.
Charges for Non-Funded Sessions
If your child is not eligible for funding, the charge for a single 3-hour session is £20.00.
Meal Charges
Meals are charged at £3.25 per day, unless your child is eligible for free school meals, in which case the cost is waived.
Voluntary and Additional Services
Optional activities such as school trips or afterschool clubs may incur additional ad hoc charges. These are voluntary and not part of your funded entitlement.
