In the interests of transparency, we are required by law to publish up to date information about our governance arrangements, under the headings set out below:

 

Structure and remit of the Governing board and committees and the names of the chair of each:

Our Governing Board was reconstituted to reduce the number of Governors on 4 April 2016 and is made up of a total of 7 Governors:

• Parent Governors x 1

• Community Governors x 3

• Staff Governor x 2

• Headteacher x1

The remit of the Governing Board is to:

• Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction

• Hold the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff 

• Oversee the financial performance of the school and make sure its money is well spent.
